Financial and Management Accountant
Putney
Salary: £55,000 to £60,000
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm

Overview:

We are one of the world's largest pharma market research and consulting agencies with over 200 researchers, consultants, project managers and support staff across the globe in Europe, North America and Asia. We are currently looking for a Financial & Management Accountant to join our 7-person Finance team. Reporting into the Financial Controller, this role will be responsible for both financial and management accounting, as well as involvement in ad hoc project work for our growing business.

Responsibilities of the Financial & Management Accountant

Financial Control:

  • Assisting with month end close and review reconciliations
  • Preparing and analysing sales provisions
  • Accounting for month-end overhead accruals and prepayments
  • Assisting with monthly intercompany recharges and reconciliation
  • Preparation of month-end accounts pack for submission to the group's accounting system
  • Providing support with year-end audit

FP&A:

  • Ad hoc analysis
  • Assisting with quarterly forecasts and annual budget
  • Cash flow forecasting
  • Revenue pipeline preparation and analysis
  • Opex analysis
  • Business partnering

Skills and Experience Required of the Financial & Management Accountant

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 1-3 years PQE
  • Strong excel and data analysis skills
  • Strong self-organisation skills required to meet tight deadline requirements
  • Ability to step back, think and prioritise
