An established property company are looking for you to join the team at their Hammersmith office as a Lettings Negotiator!

As Lettings Negotiator, you will be responsible for letting and managing client portfolios and support other departments to ensure a smooth running of the business.

You will be joining the Lettings Department and build key relationships with the Accounts, Customer Service and Maintenance teams.

Lettings Negotiator Duties:

  • Advertising and arranging viewings / negotiating offers for new properties as they become available; including inspecting the property, ensuring up-to-date photos are taken and dressing the property for viewings.
  • Ensuring that the properties and tenancies are fully compliant with current legislation; including conducting right to rent checks and arranging gas safety regulations.
  • Managing tenancies throughout the term including debt collection and invoicing.
  • Receiving complaints / maintenance issues via telephone or email, logging them and liaising with tenants and maintenance to arrange timely repairs.
  • Managing the end of tenancy process and negotiating contract renewals.
  • Completing the referencing process for prospective tenants.
  • Managing the budget for the Lettings department, completing monthly reporting & forecasting.
  • Supporting the Apartment Manager with the required health and safety procedures and checks across the properties.
  • Managing the renewal / replacement of furniture, fittings, and equipment long-let portfolios.
  • Maintaining office equipment and supplies.

Lettings Negotiator Specification:

  • Previous experience in residential Lettings.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Previous sales and negotiations experience.
  • Attention to detail is key.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • IT skills - working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
