Our client a medical company based in Wimbledon are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join their small but busy team.
 
The role is to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the company, particularly where it concerns its people, premises, equipment, communications, culture, health and safety and events as well as some aspects of finance and marketing.
 
Facilities

  • Maintenance, cleaning and office appearance

  • Telephone equipment and etiquette
  • Letters/parcels/ franking machine
  • Security
  • Resolve IT problems in conjunction with Germany.
  • Health and Safety
  • Insurance cover is up to date.
  • Catering for meetings, seminars etc
  • Purchase kitchen equipment and supplies
  • Kitchen machines function
  • Arranging travel, meetings and appointments
  • Book flights, hotels, taxis for incoming guests and for UK staff and customers visiting Germany or travelling in UK.
  • IT equipment
  • Optimum purchasing price and quality
  • Organise all meetings, chair as required and co-ordinate reporting.
  • Utilities and rates
  • Arrange office social events, e.g. Christmas including venue selection
ITC
  • Book hotels and travel for staff and customers
  • Communicating with RSMs and customers re training dates, programmes, accommodation, travel and arranging same
  • Negotiating hotel rates
  • Obtaining CPD accreditation for customers following training
  • Order lab supplies and ensure lab coats clean.
  • Ensuring customers are fed and watered.
  • Order marketing materials from Germany
HR
  • Manage TimeOffice

  • Maintain staff records.
  • Organising and leading induction programmes for new joiners.
  • Organising team meetings
  • Attend and note disciplinaries.
