You must own a car, clean driving license, have NHS selling experience or a Medical Sales background and field-based sales experience.

An established manufacturing company based in South-West London are on the lookout for a field-based Sales Executive!

As a Sales Executive, you will report to the Sales Manager and be responsible for executing the strategic sales plans for the business.

This is a field-based role, and you will optimise the quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction by attending, selling, and networking at exhibitions, regional conferences.

Sales Executive responsibilities:

  • Planning and prioritising personal sales activities including costs and sales - especially managing personal time and productivity.
  • Generating new business in designated territory by using the internet, guides, data bases, references, CRM and referrals.
  • Maintaining and developing new and existing customers through appropriate propositions and sales methods, and relevant internal liaison.
  • Participating in the establishment of weekly, monthly, and quarterly KPI targets and take relevant steps to achieve and report on their completion.
  • Planning / carrying out / supporting local marketing activities to agreed budgets and timescales and integrate personal sales efforts with other organised marketing activities.
  • Visiting client locations for meetings, demonstrations, trial set up, audits, and training. Preparing quotations, following up and closing the sale.
  • Participating in periodic team calls and meetings at sites and methods designated by management. Preparing and presenting relevant reports and analysis as requested.
  • Attending and presenting at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development.

Sales Executive specification:

  • Strong previous experience in a direct sales environment.
  • Be commercially aware with strong customer service and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good IT skills with experience with Word and Excel.
  • Professional, friendly, and upbeat personality.
  • Equally confident dealing with clients in person, on the phone, and over email.
  • Experience of working towards and achieving targets.
