Our client within financial services based in West London has a fantastic opportunity for a driven and articulate SEO and Social Media Manager. In this role you will need to ensure that SEO and Social Media is being done properly, which includes outsourcing, both internally and externally. You will need to balance this with a hands-on-approach and be willing to get involved and do the work as and when necessary.

What will you be doing?
  • Understand business goals to create strategies based on their aims (with guidance)
  • Create and build meaningful business relationships for the long term
  • Work closely with sales and account management to ensure messaging and materials are appropriate and activity remains aligned to the overall business goals
  • You'll build a short- and long-term roadmap for SEO to help deliver strong growth, including content, linkbuilding, landing page experience, and structured data.
  • Ensure a best practice SEO approach is taken for the website channels
  • Manage and segment CRM database to support lead nurturing
  • Implement the outcomes of analysis, e.g. SEO best practices
  • Ensure the brand is respected in all communications and brand messaging is consistent
Social Media:
  • Develop a social media strategy and set goals to increase brand awareness and increase engagement
  • Help develop our focus on all the digital touchpoints where we may find and engage with our customers and partners
  • Creating, scheduling and publishing content across multiple social media channels. This will involve working closely with our content and marketing teams
  • Manage all social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram
  • Develop and manage campaigns that promote our businesses
  • Write engaging blog posts and articles
  • Create engaging multimedia content and/or outsource this effectively
  • Form key relationships with influencers across the social media platforms
  • Manage and facilitate social media communities by responding to social media posts and developing discussions
  • Monitor and report on performance on social media platforms using tools such as Google Analytics
  • Educate other staff on the use of social media and promote its use within our businesses
Marketing Support
  • Contribute to wider marketing activity
Required Experience:
  • At least 2 years digital marketing management experience
  • An excellent knowledge of content marketing tactics
  • SEO expert with a track record of delivery – this is a key area for our business
  • Social Media guru – demonstrate commercial results through social media
  • Self-starter
  • A deliverer – while you’ll have help, you’ll be doing some of the execution yourself
  • Strong content editing skills – as well as writing your own content you’ll need to brief, edit and critique other content. Knowledge of WordPress preferred.
  • Project management skills – you’ll need to be highly organised and comfortable delivering multiple content projects, often at the same time
  • Analytical – you’ll be comfortable and effective using key analytics tools including Google Analytics, Google Ads, Bid Management, website auditing and others to measure, analyse, report and act on the results of your content marketing activity
  • In-depth knowledge of content marketing techniques and how to apply them
