Private Client Legal Solicitor Responsibilities:
- Drafting wills, trusts, and lasting powers of attorney
- Advising on estate planning, inheritance tax, and succession matters
- Handling probate and estate administration, including intestacy cases
- Managing contentious probate disputes and claims under the Inheritance Act
- Liaising with executors, beneficiaries, and other stakeholders
- Ensuring compliance with SRA regulations and firm policies
- Providing exceptional client care and building long-term relationships
- Qualified Solicitor (1-3 years PQE or above) with experience in private client law
- Strong knowledge of wills, probate, trusts, and estate planning
- Experience in contentious probate (desirable but not essential)
- Excellent drafting, communication, and client care skills
- Ability to manage a varied caseload independently and efficiently
- A proactive, detail-oriented approach with sensitivity to client needs
